Riders should plan for possible Gloucester bus service delays on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, 2026, due to increased traffic associated with the Gloucester Waterfront Festival and expected boating activity at the Blynman Bridge.

Why Delays Are Possible
The Gloucester Waterfront Festival is expected to bring increased vehicle traffic to the area. Increased boating traffic may also result in more frequent openings of the Blynman Bridge, temporarily stopping roadway traffic and affecting bus travel times.
What Riders Should Know
All three services are expected to operate, but buses may run behind their published schedules at times throughout the weekend. Riders using the Stage Fort Park Shuttle, Route #5, or Route #6 should allow additional travel time and plan connections accordingly.
