Ride CATA for Free
The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) is pleased to announce that fare-free service has been extended through the end of 2026Â for nearly all CATA transportation services.
Whether you're commuting to work, shopping, traveling to medical appointments, or exploring Cape Ann, you can continue to ride CATA without paying a fare.

Senior Dial-a-Ride
ADA Paratransit
Ipswich Medical Bus
Dialysis Transportation
Beverly Shuttle*
Mall Bus*
*Services available where applicable.
CATA On Demand
CATA On Demand is not included in the fare-free program.
On Demand rides remain $2 per trip.
